In Europe, enthusiasts have been lucky enough to enjoy Audi's famed RS line of cars for decades but in the United States, only a select few cars made their way to our shores. The second Audi RS car to come to the US was one of the most exciting cars they had ever produced- the V8-powered B7 RS4. Although we already had a V8 S4 on sale in the US, the RS4 took that formula to a completely different level, with an eye to taking on the likes of the E90 M3 and C63 Mercedes. In group tests with the competition, the RS4 was applauded for its free-revving V8 and extremely capable Quattro all-wheel-drive system that made it exceptionally sure-footed in any sort of adverse weather conditions.

Built in October 2007 as a 2008 model, this RS4 is finished in the desirable color of Ibis White over a Black interior. Showing just 34,222 miles, this car has been kept in exceptional, stock condition and would make the perfect addition to any Audi enthusiast's stable. On the exterior, the RS4 is immediately identified by the subtle fender flares as well as the revised front and rear fascia. These updates not only give the car a more muscular appearance but also give the car a wider track, and make for better handling. In the rear sits a pair of large oval exhaust tips that give away the car's RS status and emit a great noise when underway.

On the inside, black leather covers many of the surfaces but most notably, the front seats that were designed and built by Recaro. To give the RS4 a bit more of an upscale feel, the seats received unique white piping both front and rear that distinguishes it from lower-end Audi models. On the center console, dashboard, and door cards, the space that is typically occupied by wood trim is now beautiful gloss carbon fiber and even the gauges have been refreshed with a new typeface and a 200 mph speedometer. The stereo is handled by Bose who designed a 10-speaker sound system with dynamic noise compensation.

The real magic of the RS4 is under the hood- a quad-cam 4.2-liter V8 that produces 414 horsepower and can rev all the way to 8,250 RPM. This V8 is the same basic engine that Audi used for their R8 sports car and has been proven to be one of the brand's stoutest motors and one of their most exciting. On all RS4s, this gem of an engine was then connected to a 6-speed manual gearbox that sent power to all 4 wheels through Audi's legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system. This combination provided plenty of performance to adequately compete with BMW and Mercedes in potentially the most exciting era for high-performance sedans.

Only sold in the United States between 2006 and 2008, the RS4 is quite a rare car, and finding one in such excellent condition is even rarer. It is not uncommon to see these on the used market with 120,000 miles and still running strong so finding one with just over 34,000 means that you will be able to enjoy this car for many miles to come.
